I think those are called photog torpedos...
That is too funny!
Clean up your mellon
Firebird too Sparkling Mullet
Car Wash and Shampoo
Babbling on the keyboard while I should be dabbling at work.
Shame on me. FReep has corrupted me again (hee hee)!
Welcome to 2 weeks ago, n00b.

Dabble, not to be confused with babble.
I dabble around in poetry
it's what I like to do
bend a readers mind to see
all the things I do.
A mental image tossed here and there
just to spice things up
and toss in a star or two
to light the whole thing up!
*HUGS*
I've always liked that word, and since a new classroom isn't open yet, I'll make my homework Tuesday's word-
Queen Hillary is apparently running
On a platform that suggests we "chat"
That is a pretty lame campaign
Even for a liberal 'rat
It sounds more like the stuff
In which the moonbats dabble
Eschewing simple common sense
For all that psycho babble
If she believes her own bulls***
Who knows what else she'll say-
I guess there is no use in hoping
She'll shut up and go away
It is 38 and has been raining steadily since about 5:45-but it has let up a bit, so I'm on my way out the door. I hope to get back early enough to tell y'all about going to bunco at the home of a wealthy rancher who is also a retired general-you'll get a kick out of hearing about the ostentatious displays and snobbishness-back later...
Uh-oh-good thing hubby is no longer in the military-I'd be hanged for not capitalizing "General" if one saw that post...
Have fun tonight. It's 25 here, for no good reason.
i have to tell you my FOX story!! We have had at least one amd maybe two foxes in our yard and I was freaking out about it at home yesterday. I saw the one on Sunday after it snowed, I just glanced out front to see where the dogs had made footprints in the snow [the dogs were both in at this point] and I see what at first I think is ANOTHER dog out front and then I look and it's a red fox! It was literally just down the front steps just on the other side of my front walkway, STEPS from my front door and I was eyeball to eyeball with it. I called xshub and the kids to come see it as it was so CLOSE and it must have heard me and run off. Then yesterday afternoon around 4pm xsbrownie looks out the front door and starts shrieking that the fox was back. Well I looked out and this was not the same one I saw on Sunday. That one was a nice looking, full tailed and lightish/whitish faced fox. The one yesterday had a disgusting looking thin and limp tail and was covered with MANGY SPOTS, bare spots with no fur and then it turned to face me and it's face was dark and it just didn't look RIGHT to me! I was totally creeped out. xsbrownie had ccd and we had to leave but when I got home I called animal control and they said that bc it responded to and was startled by noise [I banged on the glass and it ran off, only to come right back and nat had to bang again] that it wasn't sick [aka rabic] but that he didn't think I should leave the dogs out unattended. So now I am all paranoid about the wildlife in my yard. We only have a half acre but there are 4 homes, ours being one, where there was once a farm. And down the street we have a protected wetland area that cannot be developed and it has a creek and a bit of woods, so I guess that's where they hang, but I am telling you for living 2 mi outside the beltway we have deer, raccoon, fox, and even a wild turkey that I have seen!
Forgive my chuckling........
i don't blame you for being creeped out.
Sounds like a hunter's paradise.
i grew up in the woods, on 8 acres of land, at my parents house. i am totally comfortable with wildlife, but not in a suburban environment and not up against my front door. in my experience, wildlife, too comfortable being close to humans, smacks of rabies. and i told the guy at animal control that the mangy one reminded me of the hyenas in the Lion King.
i told FA about this last night and he suggested i get a .22. well that would be fine, except the neighbors would probably call the cops if they heard a rifle being fired in our neighborhood!
I agree about wildlife and being too comfortable in that type setting.
i had to chuckle at YOUR chuckling, as if I am the citified one, knowing where you grew up and where i grew up : )
