I grew up with the guy (Jim Butcher) that wrote the Dresden books that this series is based on. Nice guy. I'll be watching the first episode at least. :o)

Even the SciFi channel kills the best SciFi. *grumble*

I'm still waiting for more Dr. Who. I requested three DVDs and one VHS tape from the library. Three couldn't be filled (tapes, disks are missing, I guess, but still in the computer). I picked up "The Ark In Space" with Tom Baker yesterday. Says on the back that it was his first trip into space (not necessarily his first trip in the TARDIS). It's from 1975, a couple of years before my brother started watching them.
No voiceover intro on the disk. I've heard that that was added for the American market, but I don't know. (Howard Da Silva, if I remember correctly).
