I started an analysis of NFC Championship games several years ago. I've updated it every year since. Here are a couple of elements for this game:
1. NO is making their first trip. First timers are 7-7 in this game. The last two teams to make their first trip to this game -- Seattle last year and Atlanta in '98 -- both won. (FWIW, Seattle lost at least one AFC championship game.)
2. Chicago is making their 4th trip to the game. No team has EVER won in their 4th trip to the game. Even the Redskins, who are 5-1 in this game, lost their 4th trip.

If they can hold them to a FG they'll still be all right.

"Show me what you got, pretty mamma"Yeah, and ridiculous how ESPN actually promoted that commercial during a Monday Night halftime show.

I don't want to see you guys again in the Super Bowl!
It should have been Miami in 86. LOL!

The Saints were America's last hope for this year...You were hoping for two solid weeks of hype about the Katrina Bowl?

Well, it doesn't help that Da Bears are starting to remind me of Da Borg. Resistance is futile. Although I'm not altogether certain Grossman got the memo....
