It was primarily Mookie who was demeaning Yau-Man for the fireball toss thing.

Guessing that he's embarrassed by his fellow Asian-descended Survivor--punk.

Yau Man did his tribe proud again last night. The look on Mookie’s face was priceless and time and again Yau Man hit his target.

Lisi got what she deserved. Twice now she has mentioned wanting to go home. Sometimes one must be careful for what one wishes for no?

You could see the disgusted looks on her fellow tribe member’s faces when she decided to change her mind 15 minutes before tribal council.

I wish though she would have stuck around long enough to realize that she had been snookered with the immunity idol. She was the only one from their tribe that had been to exile island and shared the clues. I think that was a mistake on her part. And they hid the idol from her. Oooooooo, she would have been PO’d for sure!

Now when they merge, they can say that due to her not around, they stumbled upon it and did so after she was gone. If they let her know that they found it when she was sleeping, and kept it from her, something about fury and a woman scorned comes to mind....LOL

I hope next week when they all go th Earl's Island, that they all read the clues for th HII and then race back and start digging to try to find it. The ones that we will have to keep an eye on are the ones who know it is gone. They must keep up the charade or they will be found out....Keep up the Good work CUZ ! ! !

The NEW MOTO tribe (green buffs): Boo, Cassandra, Earl, Michelle, Stacy and Yau-Man

The NEW RAVU tribe (orange buffs): Alex, Dre, Edgardo and Mookie.

The Jury: Rocky, Lisi

The Losers: Jessica, Erica, Sylvia, Gary, Liliana, Rita, Anthony

SECOND MEMBER OF THE JURY:
Lisi Voted Out

On day 22, Lisi Linares, the 36 year-old Customer Service Representative from Los Angeles, California, was ousted from the game unanimously. Throwing in the towel, Lisi pleaded to the tribe to vote her out after they lost yet another Immunity Challenge to Moto. As she delivered her final words, Lisi was bitter and wounded: "You can sit there and say whatever but, I know who I am. It's not a matter of will. When the ship is sinking you get off the ship. Another thing: Ravu, you guys are never gonna get it together. You guys are losers, over and over and over again. There's nothing I can say other than try to hold on to yourselves because together you're nothing."

Mookie Finds the Idol

With the first sign of light, and knowing where they believe the hidden Immunity is buried, Alex, Edgardo and Mookie quietly tiptoe around the sleeping Dreamz and Lisi. Beginning the silent excavation, the three men quietly shovel dirt with their bare hands literally inches from Lisi's feet. Mookie, feeling insecure with his spot in the alliance of four amongst Alex, Edgardo and Dreamz, sinks his hands into the earth with determination. Suddenly Mookie hits pay dirt and finds the Idol.

Relief spreads over Mookie. "There's no words to describe how much this means to me in this game. To bring this back, it holds my position for sure." Threatened by Dreamz's connection to Cassandra, Alex, Edgardo and Mookie make a pact to keep the idol a secret from Dreamz as well as the unstable Lisi. They also agree to use the Idol amongst the three of them in order to stay in the game. Unbeknownst to Alex and Edgardo, Mookie's view of ownership differs slightly. "You could say that myself, Alex and Edgardo have the Idol, but in my mind it's in one pocket and that's in my pocket."

Practice Makes Perfect

Tree Mail arrives at Moto in the form of four local Fijian dancers. The tribe must learn a local dance and will be competing against Ravu in a dance off competition. As the tribe learns their new dance moves, Earl catches on fast. "I got the moves," laughs Earl. "They put me in front and I'm ready to take the lead." As Earl gets it right, Boo becomes two left feet. "Boo was doing the whole, the white guy thing," says Earl, eyebrow raised. "But he hung in there and he's making a great effort."

At Ravu, Lisi's clowning around and laissez-faire attitude towards the Fijian dance begin to rub Dreamz the wrong way. "Lisi was one of the reasons that I was so miserable on Moto." vents Dreamz. "Every challenge she's done, she's been horrible. If we lose a challenge, she will be the next person voted off."

Reward Challenge: So You Think You Can Meke?

The tribes meet at a small Fijian village where Jeff explains the rules of the dance competition. Both tribes were taught a Meke, a traditional Fijian dance. Each tribe will perform this Meke in front Fijian judges who are experts in Fijian dance. They will be judged on three criteria: appearance, authenticity and spirit. Winners will indulge in a Fijian feast of chicken, pork and seafood while enjoying Fijian entertainment. In addition, the winning tribe will send one member of the losing tribe to Exile Island.

Moto takes the stage first. Accompanied by the local Fijian drummers, the stone- faced Earl guides his tribe through a stellar performance to the delight of the Fijian judges. When Ravu takes the floor, slightly off beat with no apparent leader, the judges need only moments to deliberate. Revealing their disappointment with Ravu's chaotic dance versus Earl's leadership in the Moto tribe, the Fijian judges name Moto as winners of the Fijian feast. Without hesitation Moto banishes Lisi to Exile Island.

Magical Fiji

As heaping platters of lobster, chicken, pork and fresh fruit lay before them, the Moto tribe begins to feel the magic of the islands. "One thing about being part of this game," explains Earl, "[is that] we haven't had a chance to experience what's here, the beauty of Fiji, and the people and the natives. This was the first time we got to absorb the culture and that's fascinating to me." As the celebration continued, the Moto tribe danced in the moonlight with their new native friends. With a smile on his face, Earl ponders their good fortune. "There was still kinda an old Ravu and old Moto. I think a celebration like this feels good as a group that we can finally push forward and keep going as a solid group now."

The Dark Side

Stuck in her small prison tower on Exile Island, Lisi has her darkest hour as a storm hits the unprotected island. "Ravu just can't seem to win even the simplest challenges," utters Lisi. "It sucks that I'm here, look at me, I'm a moment away from crying. I really don't want to be here, but what am I supposed to do man? I don't want to let down Alex and Edgardo, but I feel like quitting."

Multiplicity

Rousing from their slumber, Michelle and Earl take their morning stroll, comparing notes and strategizing their next move. Worried about Boo's loyalty, Michelle and Earl agree to target Stacy, fearing she would flip on them and join back up with Alex and Edgardo when the chance presented itself. "I am afraid that the longer Stacy sticks around," says Michelle, "the more in danger it puts me. Because Stacy and me are kinda carbon copies of each other when it comes down to function. I don't think there's enough room for the both of us."

Immunity Challenge: Warrior's Choice

The tribes reconvene at the challenge field where Jeff explains the rules of the game. Using three different weapons, tribes will test their skills. The first round is blowing darts, one shot per tribe member, and whoever gets closest to the bull's eye scores one point for their tribe. The second round is spear throwing; the closest to the bull's eye scores two points for their tribe. Finally is bow and arrow, with the tribe member to hit closest to the bull's eye scoring three points. The tribe with the most points wins Immunity. Losers will visit Tribal Council and vote one more person out of the game.

In the first round of blow darts, Ravu and Moto raise each other mark for mark on the target. But it is Boo's shot that holds for Moto scoring one point for his team. For the second round of spear throwing, worth two points, neither Ravu nor Moto hit the target save for Yau-Man, who utilized a bizarre running head start. Yau-Man sends a spear just outside dead center, setting Moto's mark to beat. With Ravu's fate in his hands, Alex attempts to beat Yau-Man's mark, but instead misses the target altogether. With that, Moto wins the second round and takes the lead in the game 3 points to Ravu's 0. In the final round of bow and arrow, worth three points, Ravu has one last chance to tie the game. However, Yau-Man again thwarts Ravu's efforts as his unconventional shooting style pays off when he nails the target. Moto is victorious.

L Is For Loser

Facing back-to-back tribal councils, Lisi reaches her breaking point. "I'm done with the losers," she vents. "Can I just say loser! These guys can't pull it together. Sometimes you have to know when it's time to go and I just kinda feel like it's the end of the game for me. I'm done." Pulling Alex aside and revealing her wish to be voted out at Tribal Council, Lisi rationalizes her sense of coming full circle in the game. Clearly disappointed by her decision to quit, Alex lets his fellow Ravu tribe members know Lisi's decision to resign from the game. "Lisi decided today that she wants to be the next one to go," states Alex. "The fact the Lisi wants to quit pissed me off because I could probably use her in the future as a solid vote." But Dreamz found Lisi's request a breath of fresh air. "Well we have Tribal Council tonight and pretty much Lisi's gone," laughs Dreamz. "She's just lying there like she's a sad puppy, so it's time for her to go. I don't know how the rest of the boys feel about it but I'm so happy at Tribal Council I might not be even paying attention, Jeff'll be talking and I'll just get up and start taking votes myself."

With Tribal Council drawing near, Lisi has a change of heart. Pulling Alex and Edgardo aside, she pleads with them to keep her in the game. "Lisi changed her mind again," Alex says. "I mean she's gone back and forth three times so I throw my hands up in despair as if to say, what the hell?" Trying to humor Lisi's newest appeal, Edgardo contemplates the idea. "It's either Lisi or Dreamz. We haven't decided who's going to be the target and that worries me a little bit. But I mean you have to do what you have to do."

And at Tribal Council, Lisi's first wish is granted as she is voted out of the game. Lisi becomes the second member of the jury who will ultimately decide which player will be named sole Survivor.

Tune in tonight at 8pm et/pt

The NEW MOTO tribe (green buffs): Boo, Cassandra, Earl, Michelle, Stacy and Yau-Man

The NEW RAVU tribe (orange buffs): Alex, Dre, Edgardo and Mookie.

The Jury: Rocky, Lisi

The Losers: Jessica, Erica, Sylvia, Gary, Liliana, Rita, Anthony

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen! It’s Thursday morning and that means it’s time for your:

SURVIVOR PING ! ! !

The title of tonight’s episode is "Are We Gonna Live on Exile Island?!"

Since some of you have said that you don’t read my weekly picks because you don’t want the show spoiled, I am now “hiding” my picks.
If you still want to read the weekly picks then highlight the post starting at the arrows below:

--- -> The clues from the SeeBS website are as follows:

A shocking surprise crushes some tribemates and energizes others.

A twist after the Immunity Challenge leaves tribemates with zero time to deliberate before Tribal Council. How will this affect the vote?

One survivor questions their alliance when a coveted secret is impulsively revealed to them.

And from a SeeBS Press Release:
The remaining castaways merge into one tribe and find a major surprise waiting for them back at camp.

Mookie confesses to Dreamz that he's found the second Hidden Immunity Idol which angers Alex and Edgardo who worry that Dreamz may tell the others.

OK, where do I begin? Both tribes receive treemail telling them to pack up their personnel belongings (and ONLY their personnel belongings), and row to Exile Island. There, they are met by Jeff Probst who informs them that they are now one merged tribe and hands them their new (PURPLE) buffs. This is followed by the typical merge banquet accompanied by much merriment. Jeff then informs them that they will be returning to the Moto camp, but when they get there, they find that it has been stripped of all it’s luxuries and is once again a typical Survivor camp.

Then, sometime before the Immunity Challenge, Mookie lets slip to Dreamz that he has found the HII which doesn’t sit well with Alex and Edgardo.

The newly formed “Bula” tribe meets for what they think will be their first “Individual” Immunity Challenge, only to be sorted into two teams of five each. This sorting is accomplished by blindly picking colored rocks out of a bag. The two teams are Boo, Cassandra, Earl, Edgardo and Yau-Man on one team against Alex, Dre, Michelle, Mookie and Stacy.

The Immunity Challenge appears to be a typical rowing out to collect bags of puzzle pieces, rowing back to the beach and assemble the puzzle pieces. The team that finishes their puzzle first, wins Immunity and is treated to another food feast. The losing team is immediately whisked off to Tribal Council, with no chance to talk out strategies.

We are shown in the promos, the Boo, Cassandra, Earl, Edgardo and Yau-Man team, joyously celebrating, while the Alex, Dre, Michelle, Mookie and Stacy team looking dejected and downtrodden. Therefore, we can conclude that Alex, Dre, Michelle, Mookie and Stacy are off to Tribal Council.

Now, one may think that Mookie will be getting the boot since he and Michelle are the two from the original Ravu tribe against Alex, Dre and Stacy from the original Moto tribe. But remember, Mookie has the Hidden Immunity Idol. During the Tribal Council, Alex will try to lead Mookie into believing that he isn’t the target for tonight’s vote in an attempt at keeping him from using the HII, but Mookie isn’t buying it. He plays the HII and in doing so, saves himself and sends Michelle off to the Jury.

So there you have it:

Cuz’s Weekly Picks!

--- ->
Reward Challenge Winner:No Reward Challenge this week.
Sent to Exile Island: Everybody!
Immunity Challenge Winners: The team of Boo, Cassandra, Earl, Edgardo and Yau-Man
Voted out at Tribal Council: Michelle

As usual, I’ll be back bright and early Monday morning with my recap.
So till then,

Take Care,

FReepmail me if you want added to (or removed from) the Survivor Ping List.

Yeah, I hate to see tonight’s boot but it’s really the only way it can be played out.

How about we send Nifong to Exile Island with all the other poisonous snakes, permanently.

I hope your wrong and instead of the person you suggest for the boot, instead the person who tried to betray is instead sent packing. Why waste the golden opportunity to send someone who is a real threat to winning to the jury instead?

I wish I was wrong too, however here is another "spoiler" that adds more weight to my pick.
--- -> Jeff has said in one of his many interviews that Michelle not only does something that hasn't been done since Season 3 (i.e make fire without the use of a flint) but she is also the subject of something that hasn't been done since the very first season. Now it took some digging but, in every season except the first, the person voted out at the merge has been a male. Here are the bootees at the merge:
S-1 Gretchen
S-2 Jeff
S-3 Clarence
S-4 Boston Rob
S-5 Ken
S-6 Roger
S-7 Andrew
S-8 Lex
S-9 Rory
S-10 Coby
S-11 Brandon
S-12 Nick
S-13 Nathan

So as you can see, if Michelle gets the boot tonight, she will be the first female bootee at the merge since season 1.
Take Care,

I kind of liked Michelle. The way they merged and then split up for the challenge was a little strange. I think they did that because theye were just so many alliances set up. It broke them up this way at least for the first tribal vote. Looks like Mookie and Dreamz maybe get hooked up with Cassandra and Earl. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Alex and Edgardo go next. Either way Earl and Yau Man look to be in good spots I like them both. They are not offending anyone yet and that is a plus at this stage. Thanks for the recap and all the coverage Cuz!

Was Michelle voted out because she challenged Alex?

Her comment was rather intelligent. Alex does pose a huge threat. Along with Earl, Alex is slated to win. Down with the sleazy lawyer. And he's a weaselly one, at that--not criticizing the others and not answering some of the questions posed to him directly.

Also, Michelle was sort of a shocker. They seemed set against Stacey the most out of the group (except for Alex and Eduardo, countered by Dreamz and Mookie).

If there is an MVP award, Yau Man probably deserves it.

I realized last night as I was watching the show that I had my girls confused. It was actually Stacy whom I wished was voted off. She and Lisi were real snots to Cassandra and Dreamz early on and I haven’t forgotten it. Michelle was a sweetheart and it’s a shame that she’s now gone.

Alex is in some legal trouble. Back in March he was arrested for possession of pot and assault against a police officer who was responding to a 911 call.

The following article linked doesn’t say what the call was about but I read somewhere else that it was a domestic violence call. He was beating up on his girlfriend and neighbors heard the screams and called the police.

The Bula Bula tribe (purple buffs): Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dre, Earl, Edgardo, Mookie, Stacy and Yau-Man

The Jury: Rocky, Lisi, Michelle

The Losers: Jessica, Erica, Sylvia, Gary, Liliana, Rita, Anthony

TRIBES MERGE:
Michelle Voted Out

On Day 22, two tribes merged into one. But when the new tribe was randomly spilt in half to compete at the combination Reward/Immunity Challenge, a surprise twist sent the losing team of five directly to Tribal Council. With no time to strategize, Michelle Yi, the 23-year-old student from Cincinnati, Ohio, became the third member of the jury when she was voted out two votes to three. With a smile and a positive attitude, she delivered her final words: "Survivor has been an amazing experience. I think my alliance is a little weaker now that I'm not there. Earl's going to have to find himself a new spy, but I think I'm just affirmed that I know what kind of person I am, and I know what I'm capable of, and that I'm just as strong as I thought."

The Four Horsemen

With Dreamz out of camp collecting pineapples, Mookie, Alex and Edgardo relish their new treasure, the hidden Immunity Idol. But the alliance of the Four Horsemen, as they call themselves, is far from secure. "The idol I have in my pocket… it's for myself," gloats Mookie. "[It's] to get myself further along in this game. Now if that plays into my alliance with these guys, then I'm all for it." Concerned with Dreamz's ability to keep a secret, Mookie, Edgardo and Alex continue to withhold the idol's whereabouts from Dreamz.

Merge at Exile

Both tribes receive a cryptic message in Tree Mail. They are to gather only their personal effects and travel immediately to Exile Island. "The game takes so many twists," laughs a nervous Edgardo. "I'm hoping for a merge but if it's not, it's part of the game."

On the shores of Exile Island, the Moto tribe watches nervously as Ravu paddles aground. It is a happy yet anxious time for the two tribes as they wander aimlessly around the island together. "When we got to Exile Island there were no instructions," says Alex. "Jeff wasn't around. We assume all ten of us are going to live here. That sucks, but hey, at least we came from Ravu where it kinda sucks anyway, so whatever." On their stroll around what they think is their new island home, they reach a tower and climb to the top. To their delight, they find ten new purple buffs and a short message. The tribes of Moto and Ravu are no more. Traveling together as a new tribe, they will paddle to their home at the old Moto beach. "For once I get to see Moto," cheers Mookie, "and experience that island because I am the only person that has not been there yet."

Starting from Scratch

The newly merged tribe gladly arrives at their new home, the old Moto camp. But their excitement is short-lived as they round the corner to find the old Moto camp completely barren. Left with nothing but fishing gear, a machete, flint and a few pots, they must quickly call on their basic survival skills. "Everything was gone," states Earl. "I felt okay with that. Had a little smirk on my face because I've already been trained being at the old Ravu." With Bula Bula as their new tribe name, Michelle and Stacy paint the tribe flag and focus on one simple fact. "I think boys are going to start attacking boys," says Stacy, "because they look at us as non-threats. We're in a pretty good spot."

Divide and Conquer

With his game plan turned on its head again, Boo takes a back seat to consider the best move. "All I can do is be the good little helper," he says, "and then when it's time, I'll assume the leadership role again." Anxious to get the upper hand, Alex surveys the playing field. "So the moment has finally arrived," states Alex. "These first couple hours are really crucial. They're going to determine who's in the final five. I'm ready to fight."

As the Four Horsemen had discussed, Mookie and Dreamz make an attempt to reconnect with Cassandra and Yau-Man, looking for recruits and finding a common goal. "Right away, we found they wanted Boo out, and then we take out Stacy," explains Mookie. "Right now our plan is working out perfectly as far as we know; we just have to execute it right." Excited by the prospect of gaining the majority and with a hidden Immunity Idol in his back pocket, Yau-Man considers a second idol. "Potentially there should be two immunity idols in play in the game," he explains. "The question is who's got the other one? We don't trust anybody in this game."

Let the Games Begin

Left alone in camp, Alex and Stacy share strategies and a plan to oust Boo. "I really have a lot of trust in Alex because we're both original Moto." says Stacy. "He's the most trustworthy person that I can think of right now." With Stacy's reaffirmed allegiance, Alex heads off to check in with the Four Horsemen. "Unless I'm mistaken the Four [Horsemen] are controlling this game right now." As Mookie, Dreamz and Alex furtively discuss the voting order, Mookie suddenly turns to Dreamz and tells him he found the hidden Immunity Idol on Ravu. When the stunned Dreamz listens to their reasons for not telling him in the first place, he makes a promise to himself. "We had a pact and it kinda made me not trust them a little bit," explains Dreamz. "It made me feel like I was on the outskirts. I'm gonna trust them until I can't trust them no more."

Later while fishing, Edgardo is furious to learn that Mookie revealed the Ravu Idol to Dreamz. Worried Dreamz might have a moment of weakness and tell Cassandra and Earl about the idol (rendering it useless), a frustrated Edgardo chastises Mookie. "If Dreamz tells somebody, I'm going to kill you Mookie, seriously." As Edgardo cools down, Alex offers to pull Stacy into the alliance with the Four Horsemen to gain strength in numbers. Giving in to Alex, Mookie worries about a risky imbalance Stacy could create in the alliance of the Four Horsemen. "Alex and Edgardo want to bring Stacy in," says a cautious Mookie. "So when it gets down to five as we planned, Stacy is on their side and me and Dreamz, we're left out of the loop."

A New Plan

At his first available moment, Mookie pulls Dreamz aside, warning him about Alex's plan to bring in Stacy. As they both agree that an alliance with Stacy would play exclusively into Alex's game, they adamantly make a pact to get rid of Stacy once Boo is out of the picture. "I'm really looking forward to voting off Stacy," grins Dreamz. "She treated me so bad when I was with the old Moto, and all of a sudden she's happy and nice and glad to see me all of a sudden because I got plans and she doesn't have the power anymore? She's got to go."

Immunity Challenge: River Rats

The newly merged Bula Bula tribe meets with Jeff for their Immunity Challenge, but before the challenge begins they are randomly separated into two teams of five. Alex, Mookie, Dreamz, Michelle and Stacy will compete as the Green team, while Edgardo, Cassandra, Boo, Yau-Man and Earl will compete as the Orange team. Shown a large Fijian mask, teams are to memorize the symbols and their arrangement on the mask. Teams will paddle down a river to three stations to retrieve three bundles of puzzle pieces. Once they have retrieved all three bundles, they'll paddle to the finish where two tribe members from each team will then use those pieces to construct six of the symbols from their Fijian mask. The first team to place the symbols in the correct order on their team mask wins Immunity and is safe from Tribal Council. In addition, they will return to camp to feast on massive slabs of steak, veggies and seasoning, while washing it down with a few bottles of wine. Losers will receive a note, which will be read after the Challenge, as well as a visit to Tribal Council.

Both tribes frantically study the symbols painted on their masks, committing them to memory. The Green team, consisting of Alex, Mookie, Dreamz, Michelle and Stacy, and the Orange team, consisting of Edgardo, Cassandra, Earl, Boo and Yau-Man, reach the first station seconds apart. As Yau-Man steadily figures out a system to get his bag down for the Orange team, Stacy, unable to free the green bag of puzzle pieces for the Green team, switches out with Dreamz. The Orange team heads out to the second station while Green falls farther behind. With a huge lead and two bags already retrieved, Orange heads out for their third and final station. Yau-Man makes quick work of the third bundle and they head for the finish. Finally, the Green team retrieves their second and third bundles before paddling to the finish.

With the Green team closing the gap, Yau-Man and Earl of the Orange team solve their puzzle with seconds to spare, winning Immunity and a feast for the their team. Facing Tribal Council, the upset and exhausted Green team of Alex, Dreamz, Mookie, Michelle and Stacy await the message from mysterious the note. It reveals they are not going back to camp. The losing Green team is heading to Tribal Council immediately, leaving them no time to strategize.

Who Knows What Could Happen?

Safe from the dreaded Tribal Council, a relieved Boo takes charge of the cooking, while Earl worries about the fate of one of his solders alone at Tribal Council. "If Michelle is gone," explains an apprehensive Earl, "I'm definitely concerned about the future because she is a key component in my strategy. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that she's still alive." Even with three of the Four Horsemen at Tribal Council, Edgardo expresses his concern for his closest ally. "I hope [Alex] doesn't get voted out because if he gets voted all the strategies that I worked for the last twenty-four days will be gone."

Ultimately, Dreamz's vote becomes the deciding factor as Michelle's torch is snuffed in a close 3-2 decision. Michelle is now the third member of the jury that will decide who will be the next Sole Survivor.

This season has such non-memorable contestants that I had to look him up. Wonder how his law firm will try to get him off the hook or if they’ll kick him out to fend for himself. Never know with lawyers.

And men say women gossip and can’t keep a secret. Those horsemen are the worst. Mookie needs the boot just to get his mouth outta there. I guess I missed the second idol being found. When was it?
