Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today. Tomorrow I’m bringing in chains, so beware.

I think that is why my mother (God rest her soul) voted for JFK.......sad but true. It will happen.
Of, course that is if she remembered to vote. Now my dad was a devoted Republican and he always voted.

It finally got up to 27, and there is more sleet mixed with snow falling off and on and the yard and deck are starting to look white. Once in a while, I hear accumulated ice sliding down the roof, and I can see it splatting on the deck-and the weather forecast says there is more on the way-I do so hope they are wrong.
Hubby's office is closed, along with just about every other business in SA, all the expressways and damn near every main surface street. Considering that this sort of storm happens every few years, you'd really think TXDOT and the county/city would have purchased equipment to clear the roads so people in the city could drive on them so a city of over a million people wouldn't shut down every time a winter storm came.
Husky girl hates going out in the yard when there is ice and snow, never mind that she was bred to run on/in the stuff-she heads in the opposite direction from the back door when I call her to go out. I even tried putting her on her leash and taking her out through the garage in front of the house, but she was not pleased and headed for the garage door as soon as she was done.
Thanks for the update-the mother "may have" given him to two unidentified females in a truck stop restroom? I'll bet she sold him-that baby's guardian angel was certainly working overtime, thank God...
It's 45 now and still overcast - and it's down right raw.
But I'll take it over what you're dealing with........I hate ice.
It has begun sleeting again, and more snow and sleet is on the way, according to weather underground. On the positive side, they have lowered the frozen precipitation chances to only 50%, for tomorrow and it is supposed to get warm enough to thaw us out a bit. The icicles on the roof overhang outside are beginning to melt, but I guess this sleet will replenish them...

Unbelievable.
I drove my son to work in snow squals and in my workout shorts. I threw a jacket on. I did say a prayer that I wouldn't get caught up in an accident and have to get out in my short shorts. What was I thinking?

I just had a T-shirt and jeans on when I took the girls to school this morning, by 2 I was wearing a sweatshirt, while I was in the house. Of course I had had the front door open for a while because we finally took the Christmas tree down and out and I had a mess to sweep out after it :)
I am on call till five am tomorrow. It's too cold to go out all night, dang.
