Good luck to you and I am sure she is a good surgeon, just a lousy PR person. For you it is a precious life & for her a technical procedure...
C sections are so fast. I could not believe the first one I saw. Not sure what I expected but it was less than a minute from first cut until a baby was in the hands of the doc.
Amazing. I know this is scary for you & worry about your baby. God will hold you close to him. Just trust Him. We are praying for you & your mom..and of course your dad who is really sweating bullets for all of you.

Hi Til, all... watching my first 24 episode. (slept thru last night) and have never seen it before. FReeping during commercials. TB hadn;t been on for many months & so I had to reprogram all the chaneles etc.
Man do I hate network TV..that is why I don't watch it. Just dislike commercials & the interruption.
I have bought several of the years of 24 but haven't seen them yet.
Quick hello to everyone.
BUT would also like to be seeing Golden Globes.. I have seen most of movies considered favorites.

Ya' know, Rave kicks the smoking habit this fall, then he gets engaged over Christmas. Rave, honey, did you have any additional incentive to stop smoking?
No matter. I am glad you did it.

Someone just got whacked... its making the wires right now...
A resident of Zamzola(Pakistan) raised the possibility that U.S. drone aircraft helped identify the target in the forested mountains, 60 km (40 miles) north of Wana, the main town in South Waziristan, and close to the boundary with Afghanistan and North Waziristan.
"It is a small forest where the bombing took place. We noticed a drone hovering early in the morning and then a few helicopters came and bombed three houses there," villager Mohammad Ali told Reuters.

Good morning.
MozartLover, so happy to read about your weekend fun. Short getaways are quite renewing!
News this a.m. about the still-bad ice and cold across the country...the CA citrus crop ruined....

I guess I will go buy some frozen OJ before the price goes up.
I was outside in the drizzle yesterday throwing whatever I could find on top of plants that had broken dormancy. I am not talking about bulbs, but daylilies and iris and mums and such. This prolonged warm spell coupled with the sudden drop in temps is going to cost me a lot of plants, I fear.

Oh that was a good idea! I should have done some of that...
Hostas I don't care so much to lose, but some others are less replaceable.

The ones I worried the most about were the mums. An old Dutch lady I used to buy mums from told me that the worst thing for mums was to get a hard freeze while there was new growth...they just don't recover from it. I wanted to try to save some that my dad bought me over 20 years ago. Plus I have iris and daylilies that my late mother-in-law gave me, and some of those were up 6 inches!
Watched 24 last night...this is the first year we are watching the series on TV rather than the DVD's. All I can say is WOW!

Those old plants...they are your "heirlooms". I hope they're okay, Jane.
Someday we may catch up with "24", but right now I'm just enjoying everyone else's enthusiasm for the show...secondhand, LOL!
