New windlace in. New headliner in. Still a bit loose, I’m gonna let it set a few days and get used to the shape before I stretch it and do anything permanent!

Coming along very, very nicely.

I have the new rear quarterpanels, but it’s way, way more metal than I need to replace. So I’ll probably cut them down. A good friend of mine is an expert welder so he can tell me exactly where and how much.

Don't feel that any sheet metal is "too" much. The retired owner (81!) of this company is a antique car restorer, back in the garage part of this building. He and his eldest son, also retired, just bought a 1946 Chevy "Canopy Express Truck" as their next project. It's basically a paneltruck with the sides cut out and a tailgate instead of a rear door. It was probably meant to be used as a vendor vehicle, veggies, street corner sales, etc. Very rare. The body is in extremely poor condition and will require extensive sheetmetal and fiberglass and bondo work. But it will be beautiful when it's finished...........

Here is a picture of one off the 'Net, but this one is in "excellent condition" as compared to the one that is here....
