Woo hoo, the build will be 5 hours late. (supposed to be done at 6:00 am this morning.) There goes my Saturday...
Keep your bbq pit handy. It's a handy thing to keep ready.
Hot water and Dawn soap, mixed, applied to the walks, steps and garage area keeps ice & snow from sticking.

I have Dawn, just in case. So far, it's only a lot of rain that we've been getting. So far today, 4 inches. The rain is pretty steady, then it will come a gusher. Falls Cty is under a Flood Watch, with a possibility of ice, but the weatherman keeps changing the ice part. We'll see. Roomey is keeping me in, so I won't do something dumb again. Hopefully you will not have a terrible ice storm. AND you'll keep electricity on. Paet of my house is underground, so when we lose electricity this place gets pretty dark. We're prepared. Stick up lights plus oil lamps.
Tracy and Terry go and pick up the new born in the morning at 9 at he hospital, this place around here is nothing but smiles.

The shower was lovely...huge luncheon, nice guests, beautiful gifts, nursery looks like a designer did it.
Only this is a surrogate pregnancy, and the surrogate mother was there as well. And I was informed this cost the couple $50,000.
I am just so old-fashioned. I tried really hard to not be creeped out.
Hmmmmm. I dunno. I have to think about this awhile. I don't know what I think.
This is the first grandchild for my oldest friend. Everyone was SO happy, and there were a lot of elderly ladies there who apparently all understood what was going on.
I guess I am just hopelessly old-fashioned. I know people do this, but I guess I thought it was kind of done quietly.
I often feel out of the loop, you know. This was one of those days.
