Donald Trump Writes Letter to Rosie O'Donnell, Bashes Barbara Walters

In a saga that just won't die, Donald Trump wrote a letter Tuesday to Rosie O'Donnell in response to media reports of her blow-up at Barbara Walters, telling her she had the right to be angry and saying Walters "lied to both of us."

The tone of Trump's Jan. 9 letter, sent to FOX News and other press outlets, is snide — and some of his allegations about Walters' recent grumblings over O'Donnell, whom she hired last year to be the moderator on "The View," are shocking.

"In fact, she lied to both of us!" Trump wrote in the one-page letter, which he sent to O'Donnell at ABC Studios in Manhattan. "After your maniacal and foolish rant against me two weeks ago, Barbara called me from her vacation (I did not call her) in order to apologize for your behavior. She had heard that I was going to retaliate against you and tried to talk me out of it."

Trump claims Walters tried to persuade him to come on "The View" when she returned from vacation so that she could "patch things up," but he said no.

"To be exact, she said that 'working with her [O'Donnell] is like living in hell' and, more pointedly, 'Donald, never get into the mud with pigs' and 'don't worry, she won't be here for long,'" Trump wrote. "Barbara knows exactly what she told me over the phone and she has to live with it."

"Cameras are now outside of my house where my wife and kids are," Page Six sources reported O'Donnell as replying before she told Walters, "You went all around this and never called [Trump] a liar. You never said, 'Donald is lying.' You never called him a liar ... Are you looking me in the face and denying you didn't tell him you didn't say this? You're a [expletive] liar."

She's a whack job.

The Donald didn't do this until Barbra Walters opened her big mouth on The View and, essentially, called Trump a liar.
Now it comes out that it's BW who lied, that she did rip Rosie up the back, and that she really did say all these things. BW should have kept her mouth shut about this fight. She should have stayed out of it.
I absolutely believe that BW said everyone of these things to Trump.

Ever heard the old saying, "You can trust a thief, but you can't trust a liar"? Rosie is malignant and I always believed she would somehow wreck that show, but I cannot believe the twist this has taken. BW is the two-faced phony and liar. Rosie is everything that Trump said she was, and Trump now has a new viewer for his TV show, that'd be me. I like a guy who will stand up and fight. Refreshing.

If he does I hope he spares Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I feel sorry for her as she isn't supportive of the liberal left like the rest of them. Apparantly she is the conservative on the show, and not surprisingly they tend to cut her off if she ever tries to speak.

I turned on that channel one day and they all seemed to talk down to her since she wasn't "one of them". I believe this was after Starr Jones lost the weight and left.
