In a saga that just won't die, Donald Trump wrote a letter Tuesday to Rosie O'Donnell in response to media reports of her blow-up at Barbara Walters, telling her she had the right to be angry and saying Walters "lied to both of us."
The tone of Trump's Jan. 9 letter, sent to FOX News and other press outlets, is snide and some of his allegations about Walters' recent grumblings over O'Donnell, whom she hired last year to be the moderator on "The View," are shocking.
"In fact, she lied to both of us!" Trump wrote in the one-page letter, which he sent to O'Donnell at ABC Studios in Manhattan. "After your maniacal and foolish rant against me two weeks ago, Barbara called me from her vacation (I did not call her) in order to apologize for your behavior. She had heard that I was going to retaliate against you and tried to talk me out of it."
Trump claims Walters tried to persuade him to come on "The View" when she returned from vacation so that she could "patch things up," but he said no.
"To be exact, she said that 'working with her [O'Donnell] is like living in hell' and, more pointedly, 'Donald, never get into the mud with pigs' and 'don't worry, she won't be here for long,'" Trump wrote. "Barbara knows exactly what she told me over the phone and she has to live with it."

its been fun watching him outwit both of them
A USA Today/Gallup poll conducted by phone over the weekend among 1,004 participants indicated that only 28 percent of people had a favorable opinion of O'Donnell versus 41 percent who said they had a favorable opinion of Trump, USA Today reported.
Since libs like Rosie and Baba Wawa live by the polls and die by the polls, this can only mean one thing.
Rosie, you're fired!
Donald has placed himself in the middle....I hope Rosie ain't on top.
I agree no one should publicly talk like that about anyone.
I wish he would have been the better person and not gone to her level of personal assault by name calling.
He is a much smarter man than she and he could of responded to her in a more dignified manner.
I am tired of both of these children....nanananabooboo
I'd have had more respect for Trump if he'd taken the high road in this whole thing and simply smiled when asked about O'Donnell's insults and replied in an offhand, distant tone, that Ms O'Donnell clearly "has issues", or something along those lines and left it at that. It would have shown class and would have thrown into high relief Rosie's trailer park mouth. Less is more in these situations.
Instead, Trump has taken off his jacket and tie, climbed down into the mud pit with Rosie and is busy bitch slapping Rosie and covering himself with the same stinking stuff that she wallows in.
Next time they have one of those celebrity boxing matches, they should make these two the main attraction.
Bwahahahah. I think I am beginning to enjoy this.
About ANY man!
heh heh!
I swear, Vince McMahon must be behind this whole thing.
I find this all rather amusing. FWIW I have never watched the view or an entire episode of the apprentice.
A good game of, "Let's you and him fight".
Come on, does it get any better that this?! :)
I don't watch the view OR trump, and can't help but suspect a certain amount of publicity-seeking in this thing.
He didn't, his company did. Companies go bankrupt, it happens.
Have a problem with that? Don't ever fly on an airline.
Oh heck yeah, I'd pay good money for it! LOL!
