Suzanne and her husband were not in Malibu during the blaze. I'd comment....but I don't want to be banned.

Oh, the humanity!
Five hundred homes could burn, occupied, in fly over country and the MSM wouldn't bat an eye, but lose a couple in Malibu and it's Armegeddon. Drudge has been flogging this story all morning.

Just read this in an AP story only it was presented like this: Suzanne says, "My nature is to look at the glass half full.... I haven't lost a loved one. We will rebuild, and I truly believe we will learn something great from this experience."

She's a giggling bedlamite. Her house is destroyed and she uses it as an opportunity to take a stab at the war.

I can think of only two reasons back in the 70's why I liked her and her brains weren't either of them.

No, you just happen to live in the greatest country on this earth because of the sons and daughters in Iraq and their fore bearers.
You selfish, worthless shallow twit.

Suzanne Somers: "My nature is to look at the glass half full. I don't have a son or daughter in Iraq. I haven't lost a loved one...."
Translation: "At least I'm not making a personal or familial contribution to the illegitimate American war against islamofascism. I'd rather submit than fight."

I think that there should rejoicing over the fact that the houses of wealthy celebrities burned down.
No different logic than when the "poor and downtrodden masses" celebrate taxes being raised on the rich.
Am I right or Amarillo?

Suzanne's father was a drunk.
Her dream, as a young lady, was to become "the weather girl" on TV in hometown San Francisco. She auditioned at three stations - and the gig always went to someone else.
Did a nice interview with her years ago at the Kennedy Center where she was co-starring in a stage show with Bob Hope.
She's not afraid of hard work, and her husband is a helluva business manager.
But I do find her comments, er, unusual. I reckon it goes with the territory in Malibu.

She's right.
It could be worse.
She could be a washed-up has-been with a creepy Svengali for a husband and a woefully-in-arrears tab with numerous plastic surgeons.

"Suzanne and her husband were not in Malibu during the blaze."
I wonder how many other houses they own.

boring day- so here's a pic of the bimbo in question

Oh, you may be asking yourself "Why did he censor the picture?" Well, I didn't. Suzanne actually suffers from a horrible chest-disfiguring ailment known as "Weird Fuzzy Lines Where Her Naughty Bits Should Be,"

I'm kind of surprised at all of the negative replies here. I don't think she meant it the way some are taking her statement.
