When is Cheap Trick going to be inducted?? They are pioneers in the realm of the live album.

Van Halen?!

Cool.

I'm guessing David Lee Roth would enter with the rest of the group and not Sammy Hagar.

Or does the R&R Hall of Fame not mention individual members when a group gets inducted?

Did both the Roth version *and* Van Hagar make it in? If both, that should be a fun induction ceremony.

Saw 'em once -- L.A. Forum, 1981. Very short and uninspired show. But there were more fine babes in the crowd than at any show I've ever seen.

Boy, the admission requirements are sure low. Who's next, the Cowsills and Donny Osmond?

I loved that song, never got tired of hearing it.

Weren't The Stooges on the ballot this year? If they were and didn't get in it is a shame.

I liked R.E.M a lot better back when I couldn't understand what Michael Stipe was singing.

The HOF is a joke as long as they keep Johnny Rivers out of it.

I'm glad that Van Halen are in the Hall now. I always loved their music. I still remember watching the "1984" tour in my hometown.

As for REM, if you went to college in the South during the 80's, you no doubt share the same memories I do of listening to that music nonstop. I'm not sure if it translated outside of the South but these guys were the biggest thing in College music.

Van Halen is touring with DLR? I hope Dave stays sober. When he was on, he was great but I've seen him when he was wasted which made it a horrible concert.

Last I'd heard, Sammy was back. At least it's not Gary Cherone, what was EVH thinking??????
