Great job on the thread! My dad lived in Alaska for 8 years! Grew up near the Alaskan Railroad in a town called "Kashwitna" that no longer exists.

After the national anthem, we sang the Akaskan "anthe,". The flighy into Anchorage looks about the same, for fall. Flew that route many times.
