You remember the last time was the 1970s.

They've got similar signs surrounding the Betty Ford Center over at Eisenhower Medical Center...I'll often park right outside (it's heavily hedged with wire fence behind) when taking the old parents to one of their doctors.

A Rabbit Diesel!

I knew a guy who had one of those. He said it wasn't fast enough to get out of it's own way.

I remember reading a Consumer Reports article about the Rabbit diesel back in '79 or '80. Right off the showroom floor, they clocked its 0-60 time at 19.6 seconds.
