And I've never heard Medved even once. If he's nationally syndicated, he's not in the Houston area. I don't have much of a clue who he is.

Medved is a talk show host -- a former film critic.
He is usually pretty strong on the cultural issues but has a bad habit of giving his show over to the most inane of liberal callers. Overall is bright and ordinarily pleasant.
As to why he is coming out so harshly against those who are concerned about our borders . . . who knows?
