Boise State wins 2007 Fiesta Bowl in OT against Big 12 Champs, Oklahoma.
Amazing 4th and 18 touchdown from the fifty with a flea flicker with 7 seconds left. Amazing 4th down touchdown in OT followed by another amazing 2 point conversion to win against a very resilant and strong OU team which came back from 18 points down and took the lead with a minute and 6 minutes left in regulation.
One of the most exciting and amazing College football games I have seen, next to the Miracle Bowl when BYU beat SMU 41 to 40 by scoring three touchdowns in the last three minuts 25 years ago.
How 'bout them Broncos!

Thought any FReepers who saw the game would appreciate this, as well as anyone who did not, particularly UIdaho freepers.

Fabulous game! My family lives in Boise and they are so excited!

Really thought that Zabranski(sp) was gonna throw it away with that interception though. Bronco D played better then O over the course of the game, but of course it was offense that put them into OT and the win.

Even my wife watched the end of this terrific game.

It was one of the best ones I have watched as well. The SMU vs BYU game back in 1980 rivaled it when BYU overcam a 20 point deficit with 2 minutes and 33 seconds left to win the Holiday Bowl that year 46 to 45.

Many fireworks going off here in Boise; and the news is saying there is a celebration gathering in downtown.

How many times do you see a game where an underdog leads the whole way and then loses in the final minutes. After the interception it looked like this was going to be another of those games.
Gotta hand it to Boise State, they never quit. That hook and ladder was ultra sweet and the two point conversion was simply genius.
Congrats Boise State, made all the pundits dummies with the performance of your football team.
And you have some classy players, Ian Johnson's postgame interview was nice.

I like any team that can stump Stoops.

Zebrabski redeemed himself with that last drive in regulation though...and it took a lot of poise and guts to do that. The Okalahoma QB had done the same in overcoming his own errors to get them tied before BUS interception. What a tremendous game.

Yes it was...on both counts. Thrilling, exciting and engaging right til the last play in OT.
