I have just seen the movie Osama, in Spanish – it is a beautiful movie. I wonder if any if any or you have seen it?
It shows the cruelty of the Taliban when they were in charge in Afghanistan. There are no professional actors they are all people the director recruited in Kabul.
I cannot explain it any better than a person using the name of vjkn from Kerala, India.

I saw this movie in 8th international film festival of Kerala in 2003 where It got a grand applause.
This was the first movie made in post Taliban regime in Afghanistan. Truly commendable.

I saw that some time ago it is very funny.
When I first saw the title of the movie, I thought it was about Osama bin Laden, but in this case it is the name the girl took when she pretended to be a boy.
I liked that - there are some great photographs in that slide show.
