**Vanity*** Hello, Robinsons (Jim, John). Do you have any plans for the FR site in '07?

My wish list: 1. A larger "post" button.

I would like an edit button. I have said some dumb things I would like to remove. I strongly agree that this is needed. I've seen some sites that have a timer set for you to use this feature, so that after a period of time, you can no longer edit your posts.

"An "are you sure you want to post this reply" option would be something I need!"

For weekends it would be helpful to have a "morning after button" to remove any rambling, or confusing posts made while intoxicated the night before. This is only for the other guys of course, I would never need it( although a couple of my 4:00 am posts do seem a little baffling, in the light of day).

I am feeling very detailed tonight and the fact that there are two * on the left and three on the right stood out. Could this be a measure of left right leaning or just an rejection of formal symmetry in favor of groupings of odd numbers?

I would like to see this...

Having "To" and "From" at the top makes it much more efficent to follow posts between two or more Freepers. And your eyes do not have to look at the top of the post (To:)....scroll the text and then find who (From:) is.

Think about it.....visualize it.

Other than that....I LOVE THIS PLACE...Except for the FReepathons....give a 30 day free subscription....then 25 bucks a year for posting privileges , with half the alphabet paying in January and the other half paying in June.....I'm sure charging a fee opens up a whole 'nother can of worms... so... just think about the "To" and "From" thing.

We appreciate your work and efforts.

Hit the Report Abuse on yourself, enter The Confessional and tell the Mods why you would like to remove your post. I have never known them to leave a post on a thread if the poster wants it deleted.

Make the 'Post' button move around on the screen so it avoids the mouse arrow.

Maybe they could do that instead of banning people, and leave things as they are for the unbanned.

It's a case of "slob posting", though I could say I'm celebrating the first two prime numbers.

bobby, I'm with you on the TO and FROM line being in the same place. I like to know whose message I'm diving into at the outset.

Wha .. ? Just only seven! (I desire to have more, however, so perhaps you were seeing deep into the covetous recesses of my heart and counting that.)

Thanks, T.C., happy new year to you and all of yours, too!

It won't be 2007 for another 100 minutes or so here where I am but like most years, I will be asleep by the time it rolls around.

Warmly,
jm

Actually, I did that for a database I designed. It wasn't popular, but it was fun watching people try it out. Like skeet shooting--lead the target.

The title of the post should be included on the preview post page. That does not happen now.
