You are correct, I was reading old emails and when I looked at the clock, 2007 was an hour old.

It does not look like a winner year, the Broncos Quarterback was shot in a drive by shooting 3 hours ago, he and at least 2 others.

Daraant Williams has died.

Prayers will be needed, as he was a 24 year old man.

The shooting was at 11th and Speer, in Denver.

It is breaking news from 850koa.com in Denver.

The police spokesperson was just on the radio, said they know nothing about who did the shooting, evidently shot into the Limo the 3 were in, no names or sex for the other 2 as yet.

I will loose the station on the radio any minute.

I wouldn't have even been awake except that my daughter is here and we were enjoying each other's company....forgot about the midnight turning over into 2007. (I guess I really don't understand that mob of people willing to endure whatever to watch a ball drop.)

Did you know that people in those "corrals" actually had been standing there since 2:00 p.m. on the 31st AND there were no bathroom facilities. Once in you couldn't leave and get back in.

Will the NYT coterie of investigative reporters (haha) look into and publish the COSTS of cleaning up the streets afterwards? Will Hillary and Bloomberg ask for federal funds to help their cash-strapped city clean up the mess?
