I don't see how. He's already been sentenced. He is a citizen of Iraq; not the U.S. Seems to me a blocking of transfer would be a U.S. military decision.

No catheter and anal plug in Iraq? At least that'll expedite them releasing the body.

"Take him...please!"

I'm not a death penalty sort of person, but I don't know what else fits a situation like this.

Life in prison really doesn't work in countries where you don't have a stable government. The perp could be out tomorrow as a result of political changes. This is not just true of Iraqi, but many if not most countries.

If the execution did not happen already it may not happen until monday Iraqi time. There is some kind of law that they cannot execute on sat and sun. It's some kind of Muslim holiday there among atleast 2 of the groups.

There is some truth to that, in the sense that even the most Liberal judge doesn't want to go down in history as "the judge who was blown off by the Iraqis."

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day....

Fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.

>>>U.S. judge refuses to delay Saddam Hussein's execution.<<<

Good....its not his job!!

Lucky SC Justice Kennedy didn't get to decide - he would hae used "International Law" to come up with a decision...and you know what it would be!
