Every one of these small things was made so long ago,
We think they are forever, but I must tell you no.
God put these things together. A blessing is in each.

Hi, yall. What a day trying to get here. First sign of trouble: waking up to this. Putting things off, I went to take care of the Anglican list. Then the Internet connection gets flaky, so I go off to shave & shower. Then the electricity goes out.

In order to get my 4WD (now reduced to 2WD) out I had to shovel the drive. To have a chance of getting back up in the next couple of days I had to shovel a strip in the gravel road up the hill. All that done, we then went into town for a bit in the goodwife's 4WD. Really dicey coming back, and that's before it all freezes to ice tonight (as it's doing right now). There were an awful lot of cars jutting out of ditches at odd angles..

But at least the power was on at home again so I could finish unfinished business and get here.

I had a Mandelbrot display program for the Commodore 64 computer. It ran in machine language and was pretty good, considering.

Fractals are an interesting diversion within mathematics, and have found utility in artificial reality display algorithms. Scenes of forests and landscapes often have a recursive function within them.
