Regarding driving in snow. Inexperienced drivers don't understand about friction and the lack of it.

Thank goodness those Laws, at least, are enforced.

Not at the subatomic level...

"I did trisect the angle, I tells ye!!"

Well, if you pick the right angle, it's easy.

All laws are enforced. Some later than others.

"Not at the subatomic level..."

Of course they are. They just use sub-atomic physics.

Actually, Quantum Mechanics...

Of course, don't even try getting into string theory...

Talk about universal weirdness...

Uh-huh ...

quantum mechanics noun (used with a sing. or pl. verb)
Physics.
Quantum theory, especially the quantum theory of the structure and behavior of atoms and molecules.

My mom used to crochet. She made a kind of doily that looked like a bunch of grapes. They were even three dimensional. All made out of thread.

God is probably better at it than my mom was.

That's how I look at string theory.

Pretty.

What's the algorithm for that?

Wow. It's a lot more complex than it looks, when you put it in writing.

I'm sure Wednesday appreciates your closeness, as well as the heat and the hum from the CPU. Not to mention the fact that you are not threatening, so she feels safe. She will approach you soon, I'm sure.

(I'll try not to ask for a photo...but dang...that's hard!)

I actually think I have a pattern for that somewhere...came out in the late 1950s.

I know lots of people who like to do things like that. I prefer to make sweaters and larger doilies out of one color.

Not to mention mittens, hats, blankets, throws...I call it therapy. I knit or crochet my animosity and hard feelings into something and then give it to the person who ticked me off. Not always, but sometimes...:o])

Actually, the directions for knitting and crocheting are like learning another language. When I first got sick, I couldn't read patterns in a language I had known since I was 14.

I could remember simple patterns, but couldn't read new ones. I still have days like that, but thankfully, not as many or so close together!
