*******
For a truly competitive person, perhaps just watching others fight this war is unsatisfactory, and being able to meet the requirements to join the fight is preferable emotionallly, than just playing football for one more season.
Woods sees his peers in uniform as the true A-Team.
It really is a crime that our 'news' reporters are blind to this fact. And they are just congenitally unable to see the suberb professional caliber of todays troops.
'News' reporters are so anti-American-military that they consider a positive story about the actions of soldiers to be "propaganda from the Pentagon" which justifies not publishing such articles. Heaven forbid that an American journalist should ever participate in disseminating propaganda! /sarc

Brought tears to my eyes. So proud our country is still putting out fine young men like Mr. Woods.
To those who think of MD as a "blue state" .. as in most, it's brilliant red outside the DC bedroom counties and Baltimore. Go, Maryland!

Contrary to MSM's propaganda, many men still feel a need to to what they believe in.He is not only giving up his fame and fortune to defend and protect his country,he is setting a fine example to others who may be doubters. He should never lose any sleep over this[till basic!]and I would bet he has a lot of pressure to do otherwise.I wish him well.
