I was VERY relieved to see that the Miracle on 34th Street on this list was a 1994 remake.

It topped a poll of 3,000 film fans by British cinema group www.pearlanddean.com.

Consider the source. I enjoyed Jingle All the Way, thought it was OK.

If they don't include The (Jim Carrey) Grinch, they're idiots.

I'd watch 'Santa Claus Conquers the Martians' 50 times rather than THAT once. (Hey, my kids are old enough for SCCtM now! Where's that DVD?)

Oh, dude, no.

Whoever made this list clearly has a vendetta against Arnold.

"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" is far and away, hands-down, THE worst Christmas movie ever made. I defy anyone to find one single redeeming feature to that cellu-turd.

No matter what anyone says, I like The Santa Clause. Just saw it yesterday and I still like it.

The laugh-free comedy featured Arnie desperately trying to get his hands on the latest must-have toy for his young son.

'Jingle All the Way' was not laugh-free. It had exactly one laugh in it:

In one scene, Sinbad -- a postman who is in competition w/ Arnie to get the McGuffin -- ends up in a stand-off with police. As a bluff, he pulls out some random parcel from his mailbag and claims it's a bomb, threatening to set it off if they don't let him leave... sure enough, he gets away, leaving the package behind where the police gingerly approach it. Then we see Sinbad running away, only to hear a 'boom' coming from behind him & smoke coming from where the package was left. He stares in surprise, then shakes his head and says, "Man, people are sick!"

"Jingle All the Way" was awful in every way imaginable, except maybe for the slimeball Phil Hartman character. Everything else was unbearable. It was a comedy without a single funny moment.

"Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" is the perfectly awful cheeseball treat.

6 Home Alone (1990)

What's that doing on the list? A pretty good movie, IMHO.

Bad Santa?! These people just don't get the concept of Christmas movies for adults. Half way through my first viewing of Bad Santa I knew it would join my annual viewing list alongside The Ref and Die Hard.

8 Bad Santa (2003)

Hey! Badder Santa (the unrated DVD release) is the finest Christmas movie ever made! It's the only one I take the time to watch every year. ;)

I love Christmas Vacation and Family Man and Christmas with the Kranks. I must be way off of the Christmas list. I would never have put those three on the list. My personality must be bad when it comes to certain Christmas movies. lol.

Santa Clause, Home Alone and Family Man do NOT belong on this list. Now, Home Alone 2...
