Agricultural activities by local farmers near the world heritage site of Pasargadae last year resulted in the accidental discovery of a big stone slab bearing some carvings typical of Pasargadae monuments. The discovered slab was recently proved by archeologists to have been the entrance gate to the mausoleum of Cambyses II, son and successor of Cyrus the Great, founder of the Achameneid Empire (550-330 BC). "A huge stone slab measuring 1.60 meters in height comprised of 5 broken pieces was discovered last March by farmers at a distance of 100 meters from Tall-e Takht and was immediately transferred to Parse-Pasargadae Research Center to be studied by archeologists," said Afshin Yazdani, archeologist of Parse-Pasargadae Research Center.

It's big.
Looks bigger than 1.6 meters high. wish we had something to compare it to.
I think that isn't the caption to the picture, really, and I do apologize. :')
The zendan, a Zoroastrian shrine, also known as "prison of Solomon". An identical monument has been found at Naq-i Rustam (the Ka'bah-i Zardusht), and the function of the two buildings must be identical. It is often said that they were used to keep the holy fire, but the absence of a chimney at Naq-i Rustam does not support this interpretation. An alternative is that in these buildings books (e.g., the Avesta) were stored, but many scholars think that in the Achaemenid age, the sacred texts were learned by heart. So we don't know.

Excellent. Thanks Fred.
Maybe that's how high it was while laying on its side?
