Wow, I remember a few years ago "Austin" was on top of the guy's names. Biblical names still dot the top 20 I see, that is good.

BTW... after three boys, me and wife have gave up. I wanted one "Gertrude".... alas.. also never to be in the top 20 again for the girls. (Wife hates that name... but I don't, but our grandmothers were named a that).

Gertrude? How could you even think of doing that to a girl?

I guaran-damn-tee, any girl born today and named Gertrude by her parents WILL change her name to Kaetlyn and wear pasties and a g-string to work.

My wife also wanted to use dead relatives, but as a source for our daughter's middle name. I put my foot down hard on that one. We finally settled on Annette in honor of Annette Island in southeastern Alaska, which is where she was conceived.
