BTW... after three boys, me and wife have gave up. I wanted one "Gertrude".... alas.. also never to be in the top 20 again for the girls. (Wife hates that name... but I don't, but our grandmothers were named a that). My wife also wanted to use dead relatives, but as a source for our daughter's middle name. I put my foot down hard on that one. We finally settled on Annette in honor of Annette Island in southeastern Alaska, which is where she was conceived.

I like Annette. I did use a deceased friend's name for my first daughters middle name, Mia Rose. I used for my second daughter my deceased dad's name and his Grandmother's name. Giovanna Grace.
