Has anybody else seen the new movie Deja-Vu, with Denzel Washington?
My wife and I just went to it last night, and I thought it was a very good movie... with one glaring exception. Once again, Hollywierd just has to throw in their glaringly obvious bias against conservative, white men.
WARNING: PLOT SPOILER
The bad guy in the movie, a terrorist who bombs a ferry, killing hundreds of innocent men, women and children, is a white, male "patriotic" military wanna-be. The relative dearth of white, male terrorists seems to escape them. They hate conservative, white males more than they do real terrorists, so it only stands to reason that they're the real bad guys.
Somehow, the fact that more Muslims blow up more innocent people in a week than all conservative, white male American terrorists ever have doesn't enter into the equation.

OK, all that nausea aside, if you can suspend your eye-rolling disbelief for a couple of hours, it's really a good action movie! Highly recommended.
Saw a review and heard about the "big bad Christians" pablum. Definitely a turn off.
That, and the fact that the explanation for deja vu in The Matrix is cooler than in this movie.
I was going to see it, but then got the feeling I already had.
Well, yeah, it's no Matrix, but it was a really good sci-fi/action/suspense flick. Definitely worth the price of a ticket to watch it in a good theater. :-)
RFOL!
RFOL!
I used to be a huge movie buff. I hate how Commmieweird makes such cr@p. And if it's excellent orgood, they slide in mini-lib brainwashing tidbits.
Finding Nemo was great, until that idiot shark opened his big yap and made that snarky comment about Americans taking everything.
My typical retort is Foxtrot Uniform. But Iv'e got a new one:
"Last time I check, us Greedy Mericans aren't the one making soup out of your hide, pal."
WAY TO TELL OFF THAT ANIMATED SHARK! YOU GO!!!!1!
I saw it. It was okay but far from great.
I actually didn't notice what you said but it's a good point. My thinking was that the terrorist was more of a Timothy McVeigh caricature.
But...he was played by Jim Caviezel, who played Jesus...so maybe that IS making a statement about Christianity.
Deja-vu?
AGAIN?
And don't get me started on that fat, ungrateful bastard Garfield.
;)
"I need more cow bell!!!"
The "Revive Me" scene was a pleasant surprise to cover their story line since they were essentially doing what they had already established could not be done.
All in all a good movie, recommending it to my friends. Of course I don't recall having seen Denzel Washington in a "bad" movie.
Cheers,
Lloyd
Yes, that drew a snicker from me as well. :-)
And the terrorist was played by Jesus (James Caviezel) no less.
