It's an interesting one. I've always heard that the Pacific NW has the 'flattest' english in terms of accent and idiom. I don't know if that's actually true, but it seems to be.
This hits a little on accent and mostly on idiom. A more thorough test would be interesting.
Hey! I used the word 'idiom' in a sentence! Twice even!

Hey - I took this picture today. I think these are seagulls. They looked like seagulls in person, and I think they still do in the picture. They don't look like ducks or geese.
So since when do seagulls fly in V formation?

I know why I got such a high Yankee rating! It wasn't til we moved up to New Jersey that I'd ever heard of Devil's Night, or found out what a cruller and a rotary were. But to be honest on the survey, I had to admit that I now know what they are.
