Very nice job on thebug, and tell theboys I think they did a great job on the tree too!
We too have an old car...95 van with about 170k miles on it. We'll just baby her along and drive her into the ground.
Thekidz had their Christmas show Sunday night. The girl had the lead with another homeskool kid. She did a perfect job with her lines and expressions. However, twice, I saw her talking to other girls during the performance...she was encouraging them (and probably instructing them) about how good they were doing. :-) Theboy played Joseph...he was disappointed that he didn't have any lines or singing parts...and he was horrified about the choice of his costume. :-)

Regarding your van...I'm always happy to hear it's still more or less alive. ;-) Gives me hope that I'll get a good long time outta mine. Mine only has about 114k on it so far...
Course, it's also rusted out underneath. *sigh* One of these days it needs some work on shocks and struts...so the last guys to look at it said. But for the most part, it's really been a good little van.
So there's that. ;-)
In other Christmas show news, he's a good bit older than theboy, but our Joseph just got the lead in a production of Footloose.
That said, I've said to the missus recently, "Ever think about going to a normal church?"
My van is a 96...Got it when Matthew was a baby. The engine light's been on for about 2 years. LOL!!
Yesterday the kid that goes to Latin with Matthew (his mom had surgery on her knee, so we take him) was listening to me fret about being late...he said "Put it in to warp drive!" And the idea of my Ford Aerostar achieving warp drive struck me as so funny.
So what was so horrifying about theboy's costume? Kudos to thegirl, too!
