The Hobbit Hole XXXII - Sweet is the sound of falling rain
The Freeper Hobbit Hole Blog ^ | December 1, 2006

Posted on 12/01/2006 12:55:15 PM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

So he watches kids all the time, he is able to be in any of their houses any time he wants, he offers 'good' children gifts, and he wears no pants?

Santa's getting arrested this Christmas.

Logging off, folks...Steve'll be home soon.

Watch for the Geminids tonight, if it's clear...supposed to be spectacular. And OT, you may actually have an aurora...

Dang! Wouldn't you just know it? It's been clear all week, and just today, it got cloudy and started raining! Guess we'll have to wait until next December to see the Geminids again.

hey... that'd be cool.

I heard about the major solar flare today. I guess they had to take cover (??) at the space station for a while.

No telecom difficulties yet. But that's possible too.
