The Hobbit Hole XXXII - Sweet is the sound of falling rain
The Freeper Hobbit Hole Blog ^ | December 1, 2006

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

"Flags of our Fathers"

I'm glad for the endorsement. I'm off war movies for the time being. No good reason why, tho.

I think I located a dairy in PA. hint hint. I think I might drive up there tomorrow. wheee!

You know what...that's not a bad idea.

Not the metal kind, but they do sell what seems to be a nylon kind.

Hmmm...I bet you that would work!

ROFLOL!!

You know if you ever come to see me, we'll get our kicks on Route 66 and head on up there and get some. I got two gallons of whole, a pint of cream and a bag of cheddar curds (they're white, btw.)

Honestly, the jedis and I have consumed a solid half-gallon before we even got out of Claremore!

Someday when you get that bug fixed up, you'll have to do a rt 66 road trip. That'd be fun.

Evening...just got back from the cousins' where we sent the kids upstairs to watch Scooby Doo while we sat downstairs and watched Flags of Our Fathers.

I had read the book and so was the resident "expert" on what was gong on...

I'm really glad they didn't show what happened to Iggy.

even the grocery store? There's often some tucked amid the spatulas and turkey basters in the baking aisle. At least, that's where I get mine.

I cried, nonetheless. And I'm not the cryer in the family...

I've looked at Walmart and couldn't find any. I'll check out Albertson's tomorrow, but the coffee filter OT is talking about might work just fine...

I *know* Albertson's has those filters...

I guess you just can't keep mad scientists from trying to resurrect Frankenstein's monster.

My angel-wing begonia (AKA the Monster Plant) is blooming yet again.

Rather wish it wouldn't. It drops petals everywhere.

It also has two spawns at the moment that I don't really have a good place for. Guess I should take one or two to work.
