Monday, Monday, what'd I ever do to you?
Happy new week.
Have to gas up this afternoon....maybe pick up some milk. :)
Morning :~)
Drizzly here :~)
SuziQ - mind your high winds Can't imagine high winds with snow, when it snows here it's always quiet.
... I started the reboot, stepped away for a second, and when I got back, someone else had taken control of the server (cursor was moving around) and it was being rebooted again. My boss presumably. I'm on call...but of course, I can't do stuff right. Better to follow behind me to correct every little thing I do, even at three in the morning. *sigh* Why even put me on-call?
~chuckling~
Good morning doll :~)
How's your man's job hunt coming?
Check your freepmail for an "update"!
...Went to C's son's 12th birthday party this past weekend. We were the only attendees. She got him a pair of sneakers for his "Build a Bear" doll. We got him a Lava Lamp. Heh heh. Well, the sneakers were black high top Chuck Taylors, which I thought was a step in the right direction, anyways.
I suppose in a way, it's an interesting study in human character. Or something.
"I wouldn't have done it ~quite~ that way" would be a funny inscription on a grave marker.
~sip~
***just dodged a bullet***
Circus is in town this week, Luke has been asking to go and offering to buy the tickets (he's got the money from Christmas and birthday). Wife said she'd take him and I don't have to go.
In other news, she still hasn't noticed that I shaved. Receptionist noticed it within five minutes of me walking in today.
She's just not focused on the outside, she sees the man inside ;~)
yeah, sure
In the past, folks around here have been pretty casual about the pre-storm trip, since they usually did it three or four times during the winter. This year, though, I expect more urgency since we haven't really had ANY storms yet.
Well, cool, if you can get away with that, what else can you get away with?
Oh, thanks for the reminder! Need to fill Shadowfax!
Wuz wonderin' that muhself...
We had one break off about 8' from the ground once; just snapped right off! It was during a day of moderate winds, but we'd had stronger winds the previous couple of days. When it broke, it sounded like a rifle going off, and I looked outside, and the top part of the tree just moved slightly away from the trunk, then dropped right down! Drove itself into the ground about 6"!
Good thing I'm going to FL.
Business, don'tchaknow.
*snort*
