Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
I was writing all week. And we don't seem to get bugs. It could be the fact that it's about 8 degrees out right now.
In.
Ya wanna come over for pizza and a movie tonight? Ever seen Better Off Dead?
I want my two dallers!
Um, working 10 - 11.5 hour days interferes with my Freeping in a series way.
Evening - thanks for the ping. New Thread...and in on the first page, too.
I haven't seen that. Is this good or bad, I wonder? Hrm...
Great Graphic!!
It's good! Because now we get the thrill of watching it with you! :~)
You wouldn't steer me wrong...would you?
How long have we been friends? :~)
But this one is actually quite innocent. It's the old 80s teen movie: nerdy kid has to wind the ski race against the cool guy jock to win the girl and save the rec center....
Heh...well where do you think roaches go when it's 8 degrees outside? :)
I think this is it here!
Florida!
Thatz a hugh problem.
No snow accumulation in the Detroit area, but lots and lots and LOTS of rain. I cross over a small creek going to and from work. It's in a deep ravine, about 15-20 feet below road level. Today, it's about four feet below the bridge deck. I didn't stick around long enough to take a more precise measurement. I've lived in this area for 30 years now, and never saw this stream that flooded.
And here I was complaining about it being 75 degrees here and having the air conditioning on in the truck when the forecast called for 50s.
OK, that could be all right...
Well, I'm home. Going to take some drugs and see if I can beat a minor headache. I hate that.
Should I give you guys my card? ;-)
You just trying to open a can 'o worms?
2003? Wow! That was awhile ago!
