Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
...Sometimes dead is bettah.
My Dad called. So I whined for awhile. But not on-thread, which is always good.
Wow...that's very cool! When you said "black and white", that isn't what I had pictured. I like it!
Homer really just disappears, doesn't he?
What are we here for if not whining?
I could whine but I'd feel bad... I love my job, the people are awesome and it will continue to be great so I shouldn't complain about the next two weeks being code review and document review. And how boring getting code up to standards is.
Or how hard it is to explain to the woman who *wrote* the code what it is she actually did.
He does :~) So can Gidget if she lays on the horse :~)
Come on over when you want for AI... I'm about to hit the couch here.
Just trying to snarf down some dinner...hopefully won't be late.
Them's some good-lookin' poocharooskis.
Well, you know my neighbor that I was so worried about after his wife left him? I was afraid he was suicidal and I knew he had a rifle and his house is right next to the part of my house where the bedrooms are...
Remember his friend put a rut in our yard and he came over and apologized?
I while ago, I heard a car door bang and looked out my window...there were two police cars in front of his house. I don't know why, but they led him away in handcuffs.
It's a shame...he's truly a lost soul, it seems...but he really is a good neighbor...always waves. My neighbor across the street slid into a hedge during the ice storm and he ran out and helped... He's quiet, never plays loud music or has loud parties...
A couple of weeks ago, the police came and got someone else that was in his house with him...led him away in cuffs too. I don't know what in the world is going on...

Hi, Rick
I received the BK2 knives today. Thank you very much. Your organization is world class and it is a shame that you are closing your doors. We truly appreciate your service to us over here in Iraq.
We recently got extended over here with less than 2 months left on our tour and now have 6 months left. The knives were the first bit of good news I had in a few days. Thanks again for all of your support.
SSG Larry H.
Your life is.... interesting.... really...
You should move to our neighborhood, nothing ever happens and the grocery store is a block away.
Well, That's a lot of intrigue... who knows what he's into.
I'm sure it gives you some rather mixed feelings to get a note like that. Are you doing OK? We haven't forgotten you winmag... we were rather particularly cash poor last month, but we will send you some help soon, btw.
Well, Steve has a good lead for a position in Texas...near Dallas. The one in Enid didn't pan out and even if it had, the health benefits were such that we're better off where we are...
So now Steve has this lead...it involves a "connection" which might really help. But leaving Oklahoma would be a hard blow to me.
Thank you! I got 'em!
I forgot Joshua's speech therapy yesterday, so we're making it up this morning...I'll check them out after I get home.
I know it would... I'll hope for the best, whatever that is.
Ugh. Yup. No fun in being extended. No doubt. Prayers up for our guys for a tough time ahead.
Gee... that does sound unusual.
Drunk driving.
My neighbor across the street (the guy next door and MNATS aren't friends, but have mutual friends)...anyway, she found out he totalled his van down the street from us...crashed through someone's back yard privacy fence, rolled the van and apparently just got out and walked home.
Of course it took no time for the police to find him. He was hiding in his house with the lights out...but they got him.
I feel bad for the guy, you know...
Whoops... well, at least he didn't hurt anybody.
