The Hobbit Hole XXXII - Sweet is the sound of falling rain
The Freeper Hobbit Hole Blog ^ | December 1, 2006

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

She's amused by everything we do out there... if it's a fencing project, she's rifling through the tool bucket. If it's cleaning stalls, she's tipping the cart over. :~)

Be grateful she's the only one. If she had a partner in crime, you'd have quite a handful.

Heh, yeah, Gunner doesn't present quite as much of a challenge as Cyn, does he?

True enough! At least she has not delinquified the pony :~) The others did come up to see what was up, but it didn't hold their interest...

I guess I should find out so we've got horses fed and we're ready when it does start. If you want to come over and watch it, please feel welcome.

Heh, Joseph and John keep talking about something like that. They want to have a big workshop to 'play'. Ruh, Roh.

Missed the SOTU and the response tonight. But we had one of the truly most bizarre theatrical experiences we've ever had.

We saw Tony and Tina's Wedding.

You attend the "wedding" then you're the reception guests. Complete with buffet, cake and champagne.

Heading out of town tomorrow. Will check in when I can.

g'nite
