Whenever I get to feeling blue or overly stressed, etc, she's a fun perspective point. She and I are the same age. She's a complete car wreck. I'm not.
That always cheers me up.

Work this morning was hilarious.
I didn't work (much!) - no one did. Turns out one of the fancy-pants locks on our facility broke. Broke! No entry! Hahaaa! No one got into their offices! *all day* The solution is quite complicated, also very funny, but not for the open internet. Tomorrow promises to be much the same. Fortunately, a colleague on another floor has a spare workstation in her office so I can at least pretend to try to hit my deadline. :)
