Today, a hugh chunk of ice slid off the metal roof on a Kinkos and whammed right into a car that was parked in front. Bashed in the window and caved in the hood and front top of the car. There was actually a guy sitting inside and they had to take him to the ER!
Folks don't understand how dangerous ice can be. I've seen hugh chunks flying off cars down the highway. I give those cars a WIDE berth!!
Oh, and I sure hope that guy's OK!

Morning, heard we're supposed to get snow then get the ice pellets.
Bread, milk, eggs, doggie treats, kitty litter...
Pretty handy stuff when it's -20° outside.
Bit better. I have soup...may run out at some point for just long enough to pick up some Advil and/or some cough syrup type stuff.
They've got stuff to get you through next door too... better than going all the way to town.

Wouldn't hurt. If'n we had a garage, the vehicles would be in. I am really getting sick of winter ice stuff. Global warming--bring it on!!!
