They got slammed though...
Oklahoma just to the south of of my area and further south than Becky got hit really hard. It truly looks like a war zone. They don't have power or water in many towns...the water distribution plants have no power.
Also to the NE of us...they too got hit really hard, the same part of the storm that got the g'nads. A store was on the news tonight...they just opened up and let people in to take what they need...they had no power and perishables would just spoil anyway. People were so positive, counting their blessings...typical Okies. (I really love this state, you know...)
I saw Becky in Walmart and they're all right.
What about OT? Anyone talk to her lately?

If the store wasn't able to take credit cards, etc., I'm guessing those folks who were not able to pay will be back when the power comes back on, to cover what they got tonight.

Good morning all! Here's to hoping we hear from g'nad soon and all is well at their place.
I sent a follow up note to LCS's brother asking how he is doing, and got a reply this morning that LCS has had his surgery and is in a rehab facility in Ocala. He's expected to be there at least another month. I am sorry to say his brother didn't give a lot of information about how he's doing, but I do have an address of the rehab facility he is staying at.
I'm wondering, if it's not too much to ask and if Rose is willing, if she would use the paypal setup she used for the memorial donations to accept donations for a cheery something to be sent to our LCS?
I'm in.
