Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Um.... howcome yer wearing black?
Uh-huh...

Well, the thing is, if I take no time off between now and September I can take a whole week off and Talon and I can go to Japan for our anniversary. If, as is likely, I have to take a day off this summer for that wedding or for the anime con, we can still swing it, but... more than that won't work. And we could do something like that just for the weekend but I dunno. Well, too far out to say.
If you guys are going let us know, though, it is close enough that it would be a shame not to have lunch. Could do a KC mini-moot with OT and OB&LSA.
*nodnod* As you say, it's still a little too far in the future to really plan, but we will let you know if our plans develop any further.
Sure... that's the ticket.
All together now - "Going to Kansas City, Kansas City here I come.."
Yup, a quad-state MO, KS, TX and IA mega mini-moot werks for us.
Badgers or Sooners want to join in?
Could be approaching critical mass at that point.
Did my first full NordicTrack workout whilst watching "The Emperor's New Groove". It seemed the thing to do. ;-)
Now steaming an artichoke. Life is...well, at least OK tonight.
rough, rough day...
I was first on the scene for heinous accident at the Fort this mornin'...
seems a contractor was checkin' the grade on a jobsite and a dozer backed over him... crushed his upper legs, pelvis and abdomen... the medics started CPR and tried draining fluid from the abdomen and chest... I prepped an LZ for a Lifeflite chopper, but after the bird landed, the EMS guys decided to ground transport to the hospital... DOA... deceased had 4 kidz... the kid that killed him was 25... he's gonna need a suicide watch...
makes every minute with my family that much more precious...
Oh, gosh, g'nad...how sad!
yeah...
I'm sorry... g'nite all...
Oh, God Bless that poor man and his family. Also the young man who ran over him. Even though it was an accident, I'm sure he feels awful about it. I'll keep them all in my prayers.
Oh NO! How dreadful!
Oh, g'nad...as awful as it is...that man is gone. Hopefully he's in a better place and we can hope he'll be reunited with his family in what will seem to him like a blink of the eye.
I turn my prayers to his family and to you too...I know you're pretty tough, but I also know you're a good human being and that's a hard thing for anyone to see.
How long will you be there???
I'd love to moot with you, if I could figure out a way to get there...sometimes can get a cheap rental car. But usually only on the weekends...
damn bro, prayer for the kid and the family
You know...if you're calling me a Sooner in association with the OU Sooners, why that would be like me calling you a Longhorn! Heh heh!!
;-)
Nonetheless, I would be interested in a mini-moot! I've been wanting to visit OT anyways...
In other news, Perfesser Buttprint was fired tonight.
'nite folks
Heh...took me a second to remember who you'd be referring to.
Good night, Corin!
