We're talking about getting a trainer that we can put our bikes in to make them stationary bikes - that way we'll get more practice on the bikes we actually use rather than one of those stupid excerbikes that just aren't the same. Something you might want to watch for on Craigslist.
Is there a place to walk at work...like at lunch or maybe in the afternoon?
At least the days are getting longer now.
There's a trail not far from here...but considering how much it rains, and the fact that I only get half an hour total for lunch, that doesn't work that well. I may go walking after work once it's light then, but once it's light longer, I can go home and grab the dog to walk on another part of the trail.
So I just need something for winter, really.
I've always been somewhat intrigued by those. In my case, I only have knobby tires, and I'm not sure how well those would work...but it does seem like it'd be closer to the real thing than the typical exercycle thingie.
Don't know that I've ever seen 'em on Craigslist, though...maybe because the folks that have 'em use 'em.
I'm just sayin' is all...

On the downside of the old days, I used to whine a lot more, I think. Now that I don't see bothers on a daily basis...well...

Well...you married folkses are partly to blame, ya know. If you hadn't gone and moved in together, you'd be doing more chatting here.
And I guess the whole Westward move is at fault, too. That and some of the most talkative folks are gone anymore.

So...such things actualy exist. I suppose they have gadgets you can tighten to make them resist more.
