For once, I have no idea who he was! I looked him up on IMDB. There was no picture and didn't recognize any of the parts he'd played.
He played Zephram Cochrane in the original Star Trek. I believe the episode was called Metamorphosis. He was also on a few episodes of Route 66.
Oh, OK, I recognize him now. I've seen him in several TV shows over the years. I never knew that they'd mentioned Zephram Cochrane in the original Star Trek series. I didn't watch it much when it was in it's initial run. I was in the 9th grade when it first aired, and I remember my English teacher complaining about how stupid the show was. LOL!
Yay, someone I recognize that other people don't!
G'nad - hope that all went well with the medics. Sorry to hear about the mishap. How's Gunner?
Just so long as you don't name any of your kids "Zephram"...
ROTFL!! Yeah, I never was much of a 'Trekkie'. I'm more a fan of the movies than I ever was the TV show.
Heh, you beat me to it! ;-)
You have mail.
No you don't. I lied.
Your better half has mail.
(and that's the truth)
I used to have an aquaintence who, if you called out the Star Trek series and episode number, could tell you the whole plot of that episode, and list minor characters who only appeared in that episode.
He was kinda scary, actually.
Didn't have much of a life, did he?
Check out the trailer!
Not really. They make jokes about folks who do nothing but watch Star Trek...in his case that really *was* all he did with his spare time, best I could tell.
I sat and had dinner with him once - something totally casual, not a date - because I felt kind of sorry for him, but he decided that *was* a date and got all upset when I "dumped" him.
Scary indeed...
That would be too, too cruel. Not with a last name that's as weird as ours.
