I hope he's ok. Stabs are iffy things, you know. I can't see how deep it goes. It's bleeding a little and I keep checking the band-aid (much to his humiliation).

Well, you're the nurse, but I bet he'll be fine... Kids are resilient.
I just checked it again...looks ok, but I noted a corresponding hole in his pants and undies.
I also checked the point of the pencil. It was smooth, not jagged, so I don't think any broke off.
Ouch... tell him you'll have a great story to tell when he brings a girl home to meet you ;-)

I actually had to go lay down for a bit and collect my nerves.
Well, it wasn't supposed to get over 40 today, but it's 43 degrees right now. I'm glad. I want the roads to clear off.

However, should either member of a certain political marriage be consigned to the ground within my lifetime, I feel it would be my duty to visit the grave and plant, say, garlic on it. Maybe a few religious icons. One can never be too careful.
