Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
No...they won't allow that.
;-)
Yeah - it is good :~)
I've seen dogs hit like you say... a friend's dog lost all the hide in a strip along the back that way, and the hair never grew back - just a big patch of bare skin.
Homer seems to be tolerating the T-shirt OK. He's not trying to get under it. If he can just let this thing heal...
How do I end up always ending up with neurotic dogs?
...Joshua gets his very own, brand new, never been passed down from Matthew bicycle from Santa this year.
Been givin' him Benadryl? It might help with the itching and it might also help him mellow out "a bit".
It hits me like a sledge hammer. I sleep like a rock. I worry the house might burn down around me!
Isn't that good! We did a little online shopping yesterday, that stuff should arrive tomorrow. We bought a few things today, but we're a little stumped and running a little low on time!
I haven't been... not sure we have any... but good tip.
Joshua's gonna be hysterical. I already know. I know him so well it will be unbelievable to him.
The store should have it...but it'll cost a fortune, I'm sure.
Walmart sells 100 capsules for oh, maybe $3-4 bucks.
He seems fine. While I think it's possible it was an allergy to the other food we tried, I think it was mostly nerves. And then it kindof becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you can break the cycle till it heals, it'll be fine. Till the next trigger :~)
I know what you mean...if I took Terra's tie-dye off for a second, she would run down the hall scraping that open wound on the wall. It was awful.
Matthew told me he just wanted to hug her, because she'd been hurt. Not good. She hated him anyway (she would snarl at him even before she got hurt) and then would look at me to see if I noticed! She was so smart she was crafty.
Mmmm...warm pumpkin bread with cream cheese.
I'm really getting tired here... ecurbh is snorin' on the couch. If nothing's going to happen I am very soon going to just go to bed.
I'm going now. See you in the morning! Don't blow away in the night!
OK - Hopefully we'll be right here on the grid in the morning :~)
When I took a cake decorating course, one of the things they taught us to do was to let the layers cool, then put on a 'crumb coat' which was a thinner version of the regular icing. You allowed this to dry before you put the final decorator coat of icing on the cake, so that all those crumbs would be locked in the crumb coat, and you would have little flecks of cake in the nice smooth icing.
Yikes! Was Terra still in a trauma state from the accident and recovery?
WooHoo for brand new, not a hand me down!
Yeah, it wasn't until the other day I realized I had less than a week til Christmas! Got a few things online, but a couple locally, as well. Not buying too much this year, so it's easier.
VEY tasty! Clare baked some Chocolate Chip Cookies tonight. I'll have to get her to bake some Pumpkin Bread tomorrow!
