Do those things normally get that big?? Less than 10% of them reach this length. Record is disputed as to largest ever. One claim was over 19 feet and another claimed it was ONLY 15 feet.
When I spent one summer after college as a guide in the Okeefenokee Swamp near Waycross, GA, the ones there averaged 9-12 feet.
