CRAIG WANTS GAY BOND SCENE
DANIEL CRAIG is urging movie bosses to revolutionise the JAMES BOND franchise by including a gay scene involving the superspy in the follow-up to CASINO ROYALE.
The heart-throb actor has also reportedly told studio chiefs he is prepared to film a full frontal nude scene to please both his male and female admirers.
He says, "Why not? I think in this day and age, fans would have accepted it."
"I mean, look at (British TV series) DOCTOR WHO - that has had gay scenes in it and no one blinks an eye."

I do not know of a transcript. Unfortunately, I cannot remember which TV channel that did the interview I watched. Daniel Craig did countless of press junkets promoting the film...
He was not quoted though, even in this story, that he wanted a gay scene involving Bond. This is just implied in the "journalistic" write-up, not supported by the actual quotes given. As for the quotes given, they seem pretty accurate to me, but where fairly mundane in the context they were given.
Then again, I found this thing when I searched the net just know:
"'Bond 22' - the follow-up to Craig's debut 007 movie 'Casino Royale', which is due to be released in November - will now see a homoerotic relationship develop between the suave spy and secret agent Felix Leiter, played by Jeffrey Wright."

Very progressive. LOL.
If there is any truth to that, as much as I appreciated Casino Royale, I am through with the Bond franchise as well.
I refuse to believe the producers are that stupid though. They guard the franchise like the goose that lies the golden egg.
Cheers.
Gerard would have been great (though I've heard rumors about him as well). Hugh Jackman was also in the running.
All of 'em. AIDS Awareness day is about more than just wishing your co-workers "Happy AIDS Day" and hanging up condoms, hoping they get filled with U.N. hand outs.

If what I just wrote made you sad or angry,
it was probably just a joke.
Gay Bond?
I don't think so!
Great summation!
Casino Royale could easily be my favorite Bond film. Period.
(ps. Let the guy make as many dopey statements as he wants. As a film geek, I've LONG learned to separate an artist from his craft.)
The things I must do for Queen and Country...
I fully agree with you about Sean Connery! James Bond just wasn't James Bond once Connery quit being the Bond.
It's a shame, but boycott Casino Royale. I love the Bond series, but this is a new low.
I heard that too. That there is going to be a gay scene in the next Bond film.
Well, way to go. That will KILL the series. It will bring gays and screaming faghags into the theatres a la Brokeback, but unless EON/Broccoli wants Brokeback money (which is nothing compared to Bond's box office) then they better set this right.
Sean Connery didn't have to be told how to wear a tuxedo.
But would you say that to his face?
The new PC Bond no longer wants to blow you up he just wants to blow you.
Craig also stated we would like to take one in the ass for the Queen and country
Time to form a boycott of the faggot bond
homework?
Moonraker was one of the best Bond films! It had Drax and Jaws and Holly Goodhead.
Aaaah, isn't that special. The franchise has thrived in part on the suave machismo that is Bond. I say let him try it. And start the casting search for the next Bond, because the usual Bond fans may be 'ready' for it, but that doesn't mean they want it...
