As an Eagles fan, the fact that he's so good is absolute torture. I was hoping Bledsoe would last the season, T.O. would get frustrated with him, and Parcells would take an early vacation.

Now they look like the best team in the NFC, and T.O. looks pleased as punch.

I agree with the author: "D@mn you Tony Romo!"

I'm soooo loving this, and I'm really not even that much of a Cowboys fan.

After the Giants' collapse yesterday the Cowboys are a shoe-in to win the NFC East and have a good shot at a bye in the first round of the playoffs. They seem to be peaking at just the right time. Is Romo for real? We'll see over the next two months whether he is the new Kurt Warner or just another Scott Mitchell on a hot streak.

You know, sometimes you actually root for miserable human beings to remain miserable — just to bring a little justice to the world.

Then the fact that this writer is miserable, is a good thing, right?

I guess the 49ers have it all wrapped up, and this guy needs to comment on other folks.

The Romo love fest in the Metroplex is a bit much. Somehow, I have a feeling that there will be a few road bumps in the near future, as opposing teams study more film.

Still, he's been a spark to the team, and has shown a quick release and an ability to evade the rush.

Maybe the "Romo-mentum" will add to the market value of my house in Valley Ranch.

I wouldn't call them a shoe-in yet. They're 1 game up with 5 left and the Giants holding the tie-breakers. If they beat the Giants next week then they're a shoe-in (2 games up with 4 left, but still the bad side of the divisional record tie-breaker), but if the Giants pull it off it turns into a crazy horserace.

The best thing about Romo is the corny lines you can make with his name. Romomentum. Romo wasn't built in a day. It's time to get Romomantic. And so on.

I was liking all the various permutations of The Greatest Kicker In The Known Universe's name.

Like Parcells said on Thursday, we all need to put the annointing oil away. But it is nice to see them win...

Well that's exactly what Parcells is saying in his press conferences, he is trying to downplay Romo as much as possible.

I do think Romo is a very serviceable quarterback, and he gives a talented group of receivers a chance to do things, they can't do with Bledsoe in there. What makes a huge difference is having Whitten as a viable receiver again, instead of having to use him for pass blocking to protect Bledsoe. I think that fact alone is responsible for much of Romo's success.
