I wouldn't call them a shoe-in yet. They're 1 game up with 5 left and the Giants holding the tie-breakers. If they beat the Giants next week then they're a shoe-in (2 games up with 4 left, but still the bad side of the divisional record tie-breaker), but if the Giants pull it off it turns into a crazy horserace.
Losing yesterday after being up twenty-one points with ten minutes to play is a loss the G-Men will not recover from. Stick a fork in them they're done! And I say that as a Giants fan. In fact I think it will cost Coughlin his job at the end of the season.
