There wasn't anything in March Of The Penguins about "global warming". Not sure what movie you're talking about. Even if it did, little kids wouldn't know what global warming was.
The beginning was interesting but it got to the point where I had difficulty watching it for the all the pc gorp about how global warming is putting the future of even the hardy penguins into jeopardy.
Teach this to kids...Take a glass of water, put an ice cube in it then mark the glass where the water level is at. After the ice melts you will notice the water level hasn't change.
They might of mentioned global warming in the film, but I really don't recall that at all.
No ... this was a documentary, narrated by Morgan Freeman. Very detailed, incredible landscapes and photography, and I found it fascinating.
Oh, thanks a lot, I've been looking forward to seeing this movie. Yeah, think I'll TIVO to make it more of theatrical experience.
Try showing it on a long bus trip, to high school students who would rather watch something violent!! Even I preferred that after a few minutes of those d*mn penguins....cute wore thin, fast!!! LOLOLOL!!!
Not having seen this when it first came out, I stumbled across it in the movie section at a hock shop.
Truly a spectacular film! The dedication and devotion of these animals in the face of conditions that are more like conditions on another planet instead of on Earth, simply amazing!
I highly recommend it for FReepers and their families with one exception, if you are shoot-em-up Lethal Weapon kind of movie lover, you at least get to take a nap while the kids watch!
Walking 70 miles for a little whoopie... Jeesh!!!!
