I gave serious consideration to a new Toyota Camry. Then I bought a Cadillac CTS.

The Camrey looks better than the Lexus ES330, IMHO. It's beautiful design. Coupled with it's superior reliability, it's hard to beat.

DETROIT -- The redesigned Toyota Camry, the hottest-selling car in America, is the winner of Motor Trend Magazine's 2007 Car of the Year award.
I'm sorry, but it's ugly. I'll stick with the Nissan Maxima if it's a sedan I want.

Toyota -- boring, but very reliable.

The new Camry is a nice, if bland vehicle (I say that as a Honda Accord blandmobile owner), but I can't think of anything particularly innovative about it. You want innovation, go look at Mazda, or Subaru, or Daimler Chrysler or Audi or one of those outfits that has interesting new engine technologies.

I had a Camry station wagon for many years, and put 180,000 miles on it. Comfortable seats, handled well, nice suspension, good on the corners, hardly ever needed repairs, and completely reliable. What else do you want in a car?
I'm driving a Subaru now because I need the four wheel drive. Otherwise, I'd have stuck with a Camry probably.

Yes it's a wonderful car. I would rent one without hesitation. But its appearance and road manners are as bland as the food served in a convalescent home. I'm not ready for applesauce twice a day and I'm sure as hell not ready to own a Camry. My license will probably be confiscated before I get that old!

I have had several Toyota's and never have been disappointed. Unfortunately when I was buying another Car back in 2002 the local Toyota dealership sales team seemed more interested in playing games instead of selling me a car, so I ended up with Nissan Altima SE, and I have over 150k trouble free miles on it now. I think that the 2007 Altima looks better than the new Camry.

I've owned Camaries, Lexuses and a Toyota Avalon and for a sedan the Avalon is a great car.

Through October, Toyota sold 350,481 Camrys this year to lead all cars in U.S. sales. The No. 2 car in sales is Toyota's Corolla at 330,995, according to Autodata Corp. Right -- CARS.
The best selling vehicle in the U.S. for 28 consecutive years? . . .
